About Me
Who I am
Mr. Robert Dixon Jr. was born in Plant City, Florida. He graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Chapman University with a Master’s degree in Administration. He was a certified Intelligence Community Officer as well as a graduate of Air War College and the Federal Executive Institute: Leadership for a Democratic Society and other senior leadership training.
He is currently an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He is a graduate of the Federal Internal Coach Training Program. He is certified to provide feedback and coach the Emotional Intelligence Quotient Inventory, Leadership Practices 360 (LPI 360) assessment and other assessments.
Mr. Dixon is married to Patricia Jackson Dixon, and they have four children.
Why I Help The Community
Robert Dixon has always had a strong passion and determination to help others in their spiritual, professional, and personal lives. He has a calling from God to use all his gifts and talents to help those individuals that are struggling to find the value in their lives. His main goal is to utilize his years of expertise to help build spiritual character in the lives of individuals so that they see their full positive potential in contributing to society and their communities.
Working Career
Mr. Robert Dixon, Jr. retired as a member of the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service (DISES), while serving as a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Officer. During his active duty military career of 30 years, he retired in the rank of Colonel from the United States Air Force. During his military and civilian careers, he served in numerous senior leadership positions and has been a strong advocate for mentoring and coaching personnel in Federal government.
As a senior leader, he developed mentoring programs and strategies for various organizations across government. He has nurtured the professional and personal development of leaders and future leaders at all levels of their careers. Through his coaching, he has been instrumental in helping his clients to realize their true potential in life. His priority is to coach others to embrace their plans to implement accountable and committed actions that address challenges or issues they encounter.
During his military and civilian careers, Mr. Dixon served in various operational, intelligence, science and technology, and innovation in senior leadership positions. He led the establishment of the National Measurement and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT) Office and Innovation Office for DIA. He led many initiatives in transitioning and implementing new technologies and processes across DIA, the combatant Commands, and the Defense Intelligence Enterprise. He leveraged and collaborated with numerous Intelligence Community organizations, DoD, Industry, Academia, and other government organizations to implement innovative approaches to streamline processes and discover organizational efficiencies.
